MRF tyre warranty & claim guidance
Understand the applicable MRF policy and prepare your documents. Warranty eligibility is determined under the manufacturer’s terms and inspection, not a blanket replacement promise.
Start with the current official policy.
MRF’s published policy specifies product-dependent coverage. For passenger-car radial and two-wheeler tyres, it lists six years from the month of manufacture, with pro-rata settlement up to 85% of tread depth, subject to its terms and manufacturing-defect assessment.
This is not an unconditional six-year replacement guarantee. Damage, wear, usage and the applicable product policy must be assessed. Refer to MRF’s current policy for the full terms rather than assuming every tyre has the same coverage.

How to begin
Contact the showroom first. We can explain which documents to bring and how the tyre will be assessed under MRF’s process. Do not assume a claim has been approved until the manufacturer’s assessment is complete.
